CTL Logistics Sp. z o.o. has successfully completed the certification process for the extension of its ECM (Entity in Charge of Maintenance) certificate, conducted by the President of the Office of Rail Transport (UTK).
Based on the carried-out certification proceedings and the positive assessment of the Maintenance Management System, the ECM certificate has been extended for a further five-year period, remaining valid until 18 December 2030.
The certificate confirms that CTL Logistics meets the requirements set out in European Union legislation and national regulations concerning the safe maintenance of railway vehicles. The scope of certification includes, among others, freight wagons—also special-purpose wagons adapted for the transport of dangerous goods—locomotives, and special vehicles.
The decision of the President of UTK is the result of a comprehensive documentation evaluation, the functioning of the maintenance management system, conducted audits, as well as corrective and preventive actions implemented by the Company.
Maintaining the validity of the ECM certificate constitutes a key element in ensuring the operational continuity of CTL Logistics and confirms the high level of safety culture consistently upheld in the Company’s day-to-day operations.
