Safety management system
Safety Management System / SMS means the organization and measures adopted by the infrastructure manager or railway operator in order to ensure the safe management of the entity's business.
CTL Logistics as a railway operator has developed and implemented internal regulations, procedures and instructions regulating the Company's operation in the area of security and enabling the safe arrangement of relations with other entities, including the infrastructure manager, carriers and subcontractors.
The essence of the solutions adopted under SMS is to provide the ability to constantly identify threats in all areas of CTL Logistics' operations, including those resulting from cooperation with other entities (e.g. carrier with infrastructure manager), cooperation with subcontractors (e.g. infrastructure or vehicle maintenance services) , traction services or personnel outsourcing) and management of risks related to these threats.
The safety management system applied in CTL Logistics ensures the active implementation of risk control measures while monitoring the effectiveness of the solutions used and constant improvement of the adopted procedures, instructions and regulations in order to maintain the required level of security of the business.
